Sustainability at LE Graphics

Responsible Design. Ethical Production. A Greener future.

At LE Graphics, we believe that great design should never come at the expense of the planet. As a family-run business based in the heart of Fermanagh, we’re deeply connected to our environment and our community. Sustainability isn’t just a trend — it’s a responsibility we take seriously in everything we do.

🌿 Our Commitment

We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint, supporting local and global sustainability goals, and helping our clients do the same. From the materials we source to the processes we use, every aspect of our operation is guided by a desire to create lasting impact with minimal waste.responsible design, Ethical Production, A Greener future

♻️ What We’re Doing

✅ Solar-Powered Production

In 2024, we invested in a solar PV system which now powers our manufacturing premises, significantly reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and lowering our carbon footprint.

✅ Sustainable Materials

We prioritise materials that are FSC®-certified, fully recyclable, or made from recycled content. This includes:

  • 100% recycled acrylics in our signage

  • Aluminium – one of the world’s most recyclable metals

  • Tricoya® panels – FSC-certified, durable, and sustainably sourced

  • Eco-friendly printed garments and promotional items

✅ Waste Reduction

We are blessed to live and work in a really beautiful part of the world and as a consequence we are reminded daily of the importance of protecting our planet for generations to come. We are also acutely aware that there is a big world outside of the Fermanagh Lakelands and that our actions impact all of it.

That’s why we look constantly review our materials, suppliers and processes to ensure that we minimise our impact on the environment.

We operate a zero-to-landfill policy on all offcuts that can be recycled. Where possible, materials are repurposed, and we work with local recycling schemes to minimise waste output.

We recycle as much of our waste as possible and have now committed to using 100% recycled packaging for delivery of our products.

✅ Thoughtful Design

Our design-led approach encourages long-lasting solutions. Rather than single-use or short-term signage, we create graphics and signage that stand the test of time — both visually and structurally — reducing the need for frequent replacement.

✅ Eco-Conscious Clothing

Our branded clothing range includes organic cotton garments and garments made from recycled fibres. We also offer print-on-demand and batch production, reducing waste from unsold inventory.

🌍 Supporting Others to Be Sustainable

Sustainability doesn’t stop at our door. We actively support our clients in achieving their own environmental goals:

  • Advising on low-impact signage solutions

  • Promoting modular systems that can be rebranded or updated instead of replaced

  • Providing digital proofs to reduce unnecessary printing

  • Providing a free recycling service for end of life signage

  • Encouraging eco-friendly packaging and promotional products

💚 Community and Social Responsibility

We recognise that sustainability also includes social impact. LE Graphics has raised over £250,000 for charities through community events and donations, and we continue to:

  • Support local charities such as Action Cancer, Crohn’s and Collitis UK, Cancer Focus NI, Rotary Foundation and Cancer Connect.

  • Offer discounted services to non-profits and community projects

  • Volunteer our time and skills to causes that matter

🌱 Our Vision

Sustainability is a journey — and we’re proud to be making progress. As we look ahead, our goals include:

  • Increasing use of biodegradable materials

  • Achieving carbon neutrality

  • Introducing more circular design practices

  • Expanding our solar capacity

Let’s Build a Better Future — Together

Whether you’re looking for eco-friendly signage, sustainable uniforms, or advice on reducing your project’s footprint, LE Graphics is here to help.

🟢 Good design. Great quality. Greener thinking.
Let’s create something that lasts — for your brand and for the planet.

✅Product Case Study

Our commitment to the environment is demonstrated nowhere better than in our range of branded and non branded mats.

The fabric used in our best selling product, the full colour logo mat is made from 100% post consumer recycled content, the PET yarn being made entirely from recycled plastic bottles. Whilst our high quality Berber-Weave mat boasts 85% recycled content.

We can also offer a mat recycling service to our customers for worn out or obsolete rubber backed mats. None of the mats returned will be sent to landfill. The obsolete mats will be ground up and either renewed in non-launderable mats or converted to boiler fuel.

👕 Ethical & Sustainable Branded Clothing

🧵 Responsible Sourcing

We are committed to working only with suppliers who operate ethically, transparently, and in compliance with all relevant labour and environmental regulations in their respective countries. Every garment brand we offer has been carefully selected for its commitment to fair and responsible manufacturing.

Our supply partners are required to provide clear documentation on their manufacturing processes, labour standards, and trading policies. If they fail to meet our expectations for ethical conduct — we simply won’t work with them.

🚫 Zero Tolerance for Modern Slavery

We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy on modern slavery and human trafficking. Every supplier in our clothing supply chain must:

  • Use labour fairly, ethically, and legally

  • Operate in safe and respectful working conditions

  • Demonstrate full transparency in their operations

Should any supplier be unable to uphold these standards, our relationship with them is terminated immediately.

👚 Sustainable Garment Options

Alongside ethical sourcing, we offer a growing range of sustainable clothing options, including:

  • Garments made from organic cotton and recycled fibres

  • Low-waste print-on-demand production

  • Eco-conscious printing and embroidery techniques

We also encourage clients to consider long-lasting branded garments that won’t end up in landfill after a few wears.

At LE Graphics, we believe your brand should feel good — and do good. Our clothing not only looks the part but is part of a more sustainable and ethical future for the garment industry.

Clothing Industry Credentials Explained
