Job types within our team are varied and include graphic designers, sign makers, sign fitters, accounts and admin staff, estimators and sales staff.

We are currently recruiting a Trainee Sign Maker (Full Time)

This is a full time post. Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. Occasional weekend and evening work may be required.

LE Graphics is one of Northern Ireland’s leading sign and branding companies, designing, manufacturing and installing high-quality signage for businesses, visitor attractions and organisations throughout Ireland and the UK.

We are looking for a Trainee Sign Maker & Installer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants to develop a career in a skilled trade. No previous experience is necessary – full training will be provided.

About the Role

Working alongside our experienced team, you will learn all aspects of sign manufacture and installation, including:

  • Manufacturing a wide range of internal and external signs.
  • Preparing materials using specialist machinery and hand tools.
  • Vinyl application and graphic installation.
  • Assembly of illuminated and non-illuminated signs.
  • Installation of signs on customer premises throughout Northern Ireland and beyond.
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and attention to detail.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a practical, hands-on approach to work.
  • Can demonstrate good manual dexterity and an aptitude for learning practical skills.
  • Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
  • Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn from experienced colleagues.
  • Can work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Has good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Is willing to work at customer sites and occasionally at height using appropriate safety equipment.

Previous experience in joinery, engineering, fabrication, electrical work or another practical trade would be an advantage but is not essential.

A full UK driving licence would also be beneficial, although it is not essential for the right candidate.
