Aluminium Composite Material (ACM):

This marriage results in a material that boasts unmatched rigidity and resilience, making it an ideal candidate for the creation of durable and versatile panels and boards.
Versatile Signmaking Excellence: Perfectly tailored for signmaking, our Aluminium Composite Sheet excels in both indoor and outdoor applications. Its surface, smooth as a canvas, provides an ideal backdrop for vibrant graphics and sharp detailing, ensuring your message radiates clarity.
ACM, aka ACP: Referred to interchangeably as Aluminium Composite Panel (ACP), this sandwich-type material comprises two ultra-thin outer sheets of aluminium bonded over a central plastic core, typically polyethylene (PE) or polyurethane (PU). Known by various trade names such as Dibond or Skybond, ACM is available in different thicknesses and sheet sizes, up to 2m x 3m. Crucially, different grades such as fabrication grade and hoarding grade offer flexibility in application, with the latter being more budget-friendly but not suitable for fabrication techniques such as folding or bending due to thinner outer layers.
A Palette of Possibilities: Choose from a variety of powder-coated colour finishes, brushed silver, and gold metallic finishes, tailoring your signage to align perfectly with your brand aesthetic. Of course, the most common way in which we brand ACM panels is to digitally print the design onto high quality vinyl and then wrap the panel finishing off with a protective laminate layer in either a gloss or satin finish.

Foamed PVC Sheet:
Elevate your signmaking projects with the lightweight brilliance of our Foamed PVC Sheet. Crafted for versatility, this sheet material strikes the perfect balance between durability and flexibility. Ideal for a wide range of indoor and limited outdoor applications, its smooth surface serves as an excellent base for vibrant prints and precise detailing.
The foamed PVC construction ensures ease of handling without compromising on strength, making it an excellent choice for signage in retail spaces, trade shows, and more. Choose Foamed PVC Sheet for signage that effortlessly blends form and function, creating a visual masterpiece wherever it’s displayed.
Foamed PVC is also commonly know by various trade names such as foamex and fomalux and is available in a wide range of thicknesses from 2mm to 25mm with 3, 6, 10 and 19mm being our most popular sizes. It comes in various sheet sizes from 2.4 x 1.2m (8ft x 4ft) up to 3m x 2m and in a variety of primary colours.
Foamed PVC is quite thermally unstable and for that reason we do not recommend it for larger sign panels outdoors or in indoor environments where there are large temperature fluctuations as it will be inclined to ripple or warp.
Fluted Polypropylene (Correx®):
The go-to for budget friendly and temporary signage such as estate agents and building site signage.
Corriboard is a fluted polypropylene sheet designed to redefine the possibilities in signmaking. Lightweight yet robust, this material combines flexibility with strength, making it an ideal choice for a multitude of applications. The fluted design not only adds structural integrity but also allows for effortless customization and installation. Perfect for temporary signage, event displays, and outdoor promotions, Corriboard is the go-to solution when you need cost-effective, eye-catching signage that can weather the elements. Choose Corriboard for signage that stands tall in any setting, delivering impact without compromise.
Correx® is actually a registered tradename for a specific brand of twin walled extruded polypropylene sheeting which has mor or less become the common name for this type of materials. Other names and brands include Corriboard, Corvex, Coriflute and even just plain old Corrugated Plastic.
Correx® is 100% recyclable and, as with foamed PVC, Correx® is available in a wide range of thicknesses, sheet sizes and colours.
It is a very robust material and one which we use frequently if the finished aesthetics of the sign panel are less important than budget.
Acrylic Sheet:

Commonly referred to as Perspex® or Plexiglass® both of which are tradenames, acrylic has a closed cell structure which allows us to flame polish the edges resulting in a glass-like finish to cut edges unlike the open cell structure of softer plastics such as foamed PVC
Acrylic is ideal for signs in areas where visual aesthetics are important such as office spaces and retail environments. Our most common method for decorating acrylic sheet is to use clear acrylic and apply a reverse printed vinyl graphic to the rear of the panel.
Polycarbonate Sheet:

Sometimes referred to by brand names such as Lexan® or Macralon® Polycarbonate is similar at first glance to acrylic with one big difference – it is virtually indestructible. In fact this is the stuff that police riot shields are made from. Unlike acrylic, polycarbonate cannot be flame polished so will always have a slightly duller finished edge.
Polycarb is commonly used for signs where vandalism is an issue or in situations where impact strikes against the sign are likely (for example sports pitches)
MDF and Tricoya:
