A trip to London’s famous Regent Street two weeks before Christmas usually means fun times and Christmas shopping but our recent trip was all work and no play!
L.E. Graphics were delighted to have been selected to supply and fit the exterior signage for OMEGA’S new Flagship store in Regent Street in the heart of London’s West End shopping area.
The luxury watch and jewellery brand OMEGA has just opened a new two-storey boutique which showcases both new and classic OMEGA collections, featuring watches, perfume and the brand new leather collection. And with a workshop on site, there are watchmakers on hand for any repairs or adjustments. The new store is located at 260 Regent Street, just off Oxford Circus in the heart of the capital.
The first floor has a special VIP area for clients and guests while the ground floor has a screen that continuously counts down to the London 2012 Olympic Games – of which OMEGA is the Official Timekeeper.
The signage was required to fit with the street scape and to comply with regulations laid down by the City of Westminster. Of course OMEGA also expects that the quality and appearance of their signage should match the excellence of their watches and jewellery and so L.E. Graphics were selected to add the finishing touches to the exterior with solid bronze letters and logos above the main entrance and a cast bronze plaque at street level.
As the store was opened on 21st December just in time for last minute Christmas shopping, we had to fit the signage during the busiest week of the year in Regent Street. This meant working through the night in order to fit the signs when London’s shoppers were all happily tucked up in their beds!
